about

This is the début album from the Manchester based jazz quartet Aeola. Spacious ballads and driven standards with clean vocal sounds - the set includes some beautiful but less well known standards by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington etc. joined by Rhythm players Anthony Brett Sharpe and William Unger using uncommon rhythmic devices. Our original songs are written with full harmonies by Andy Moorhouse and words inspired by nature, by vocalist Allison Clarke.
